Education

FEVACA believe the most important learning for each person is about himself or herself, developing their own values, increasing their confidence, identity and empathy towards others. Alongside this, we want to support clients to access opportunities in education, training and employment, support them in completing formal qualifications and ensure they achieve the minimum of a Level 1 qualification in independent living skills.

Following feedback form young people in 2011, FEVACA expanded their service to include educational staff that could support young people in each house. The role was quickly developed and the service now encompasses a broader team led by a qualified teacher. The team complete assessments to explore strengths and complete monthly reports on educational development. The team signpost and support people to attend alternative providers and engage with colleges, apprenticeships and other support and leisure services.
